The Elven Rebellion
After Be’lal was defeated, a young but strong and charismatic elf by the name of Findis began to win the affection of the elven population. Findis’ strong connection to the forest and raw magical power was startling at such a young age, and he won the hearts of his people through the delicacy of his prose, the care in his heart, and his pure ability to lead. After the terrible loss of the elven King Lindir, Findis was an obvious choice for his successor. He was not only an iconic figurehead, but an intelligent leader. For years, he was looked up to, for none suspected the young prodigy to be false. Before the Day of Deceit, his true nature was discovered by the elves. Findis was in fact, the dragon Kiegal. Kiegal abandoned his plan to take the elven throne and instead stole the elves most sacred artifact, Guthbreoht. Kiegal was able to escape with the mighty sword although he was gravely injured in a vicious battle for the blade. He flew back to Drak’thul and delivered Guthbreoht to Archades. However, Kiegal’s injury was beyond healing and he immediately perished from the wound and exhaustion.
